inA great, easy-fitting printed dress is a must-have for every woman’s wardrobe. It’s the perfect thing to put on when you’re tired and you don’t feel like fussing with a lot of components. Or for when you’re bloated and you need something with a little more coverage. A dress you can just throw on, add some tights if it’s chilly, pair it with some comfy flats and walk out the door. The ‘Adelaide‘ floral-printed dress from Guess fits the bill perfectly. The print is a combination of floral and tie-dye, and it has that awesome, loose yet fitted silhouette that is so comfortable and stylish. Essentially, it’s a dressed up shirtdress with sheer sleeves and a button-down front. We’d wear this to work everyday if we could. #lucky #trends #outfitideas

inTrue Religion has always been one of our go-to denim destinations, especially when the boot cut was the only style of jeans anyone would wear (1998?). Lately, they’ve been turning out some really interesting skinny styles, and we’re kind of obsessed with how almost, well, “out there” they are. They have a collection called “Glam Rock” and it’s just so nuts that it actually works. Take these ‘Purple Iridescent Halle Jeans‘ for example. They’re totally crazy. A super skinny legging jean coated with a purple, metallic, iridescent finish? Come on. They feature a high rise and of course their signature (and might we add very flattering) horse shoe logo back pockets (True Religion jeans make your butt look incredible. It’s all about those pockets. Anyway, these jeans are totally crazy, but they work for spring 2013 and we want them. First of all, spring 2013 is already totally insane. Patterns and prints are getting mixed all over the place, sequins and lace are getting thrown on all dresses, and monochromatic suits are a trend for God’s sake, so really, anything goes. We’d pair these with a chunky white fisherman sweater or a black silk tee and a graphic printed blazer. #lucky #trends

Sunglasses are a great way to add pop to any outfit. Think of them as an accessory the same way you would jewelry or scarves. We’re currently loving sunglasses that have either a bold color, a pattern, or a little bit of sparkly embellishment. The ‘Ella‘ from Coach and available at Sunglasses Hut (our main shopping stop for sunglasses), combine all three of these trends. Little sparkly details and the Coach logo decorate the sides of the frames, and the interior of each arm is printed with a cool yellow and black version of the Coach logo. They’re really sweet and easy to pair with just about anything. #lucky #trends

inLace remains a big trend for spring 2013, and black is always in style. When it comes to mixing the two, be careful not to go overboard. A maxi dress made entirely of black lace can look a little too much like a goth costume. You’re looking for something simple, clean, and modern. When it comes to those three elements, no one puts them together as well as Nicole Miller. Her new collection of dresses is simply stunning, and we love the futuristic cuts and fabrics, as well as her re-working of the classics. Try something sweet and step into the lace trend with the ‘Stretch Crepe de Chine and Lace Dress‘ in black. It has a vintage feel and is made of figure-friendly stretch crepe de chine, which is an airy and lightly textured silk. It has a scalloped lace jewel neckline and sweet cap sleeves with front princess seams and buttons down the back. It’s the perfect mix of old and new, and the amount of lace is just enough. #lucky #trends

We love Hudson Jeans. They’re super wearable, quite comfortable, made of amazingly soft denim, and the company offers a wide variety of colors and rinses, as well as a lot of leather skinny pants. Ombre and bold colors are still big right now, so why not combine both with the ‘Krista Super Skinny‘ in pomegranate/amethyst ombre. It’s just bright enough and the ombre fade out at the knee is really cool. Pair with a chunky black sweater or a white silk tank and a patterned blazer and you’re good to go! #lucky #trends

black maxi dress, dress, fashion, fp x, free people, lucky, style, trends
While we always adore a sweet mini skirt, there’s something so alluring about a long, more covered-up, exotic dress. If you dare to wear one to a cocktail party or on a date, you’re sure to stand out (and if you like that sort of feeling, which we love, then by all means, hop aboard!). Free People has made a name for themselves as the go-to destination for high-quality, sometimes high-end, unusual and modern bohemian chic. It’s a great place to find unique pieces like jackets and skirts that we normally go on to mix with other pieces. Very rarely do we dress head-to-toe in Free People. But the new FP X Collection has us singing a very different tune. We’ve fallen madly in love with the ‘FP X Film Noir Dress‘ for all the drama and the black ruffles it entails. It’s actually rather sleek and simple for a Free People dress, with a solid black column maxi skirt and a nipped waist. It’s emphasized by a relatively modest, criss-crossed V-cut back tiered with ruffles all the way down, ruffled chiffon shoulders, and a sweet, intricate lace inset at the front neckline. We imagine that Shosanna Dreyfus from Inglourious Bastards would have worn this dress with ease while she casually shot Col. Hans Landa in the face. How fantastic is that? #lucky #trends #outfitideas

fashion, fisherman sweater, gold, lucky, ombre, trends, urban outfitters
There are 3 things we absolutely adore: anything ombre (including hair), anything gold, and the chunky fisherman sweater. Apparently, we live in a magical world where suddenly, all three of these things have been combined into one delicious item, and it’s available at Urban Outfitters. The ‘Rag Union x Urban Renewal Ombre Foiled Fisherman Sweater‘ is basically all we’ve ever dreamed about. It combines our three favorite trends and it’s just so darn fashionable. Wear it over dark skinny jeans or with a maxi skirt for an edgier look, with cut out ankle booties, knee-high moto boots, or even pumps. This may be our favorite sweater ever. So cool. #lucky #outfitideas #trends
